Return and Refund Policy


The following information is for quick reference only. Please check with a ShopUST's representative or our Returns Department personnel for updates, more detail, and authorization for all returns.

ShopUST ships from multiple locations within the United States and as a result, PLEASE DO NOT SHIP ANY RETURNS TO OUR FLORIDA ADDRESS UNLESS INSTRUCTED.

Note that outgoing Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstances. In addition, ShoPUST cannot take back any return without the original manufacturer's box and packing materials. Be sure to keep all documentation unless you are absolutely sure you won't be returning the purchased product.

Within 30 days of receipt of shipments, you may return:

New and unopened products purchased from ShopUST can be returned for a refund. We will issue a full refund or exchange of items that meets the stated conditions. Shipping costs can only be refunded if the return is a result of ShopUST’s error. Opened items returned within our return period (30 day) are subjected to a minimum of 20% restocking fee which increases to 30% depending on the condition of the product returned.

If products are returned without an RMA, missing or damaged to original contents or false claims of damage a minimum of 20% restocking fee will be assessed.

Defective Items


Defective items other than those mentioned below may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Due to the complexity of internet transactions, we do not offer exchanges, however we will gladly credit the outgoing ground shipping costs of a replacement order. Please send an email to customer service department along with the order number if a replacement order is made for a freight credit. Note: if the replacement is purchased using express shipping, only the Ground freight delivery cost will be refunded.

Certain items are Factory Service Only and cannot be returned to ShopUST. Please consult the product packaging or a ShopUST Customer Service Representative for further information. For a current list of the products that are Factory Service Only, please contact ShopUST Customer Service Representative at 1-866-410-7528.

Televisions. All televisions (with the exception of Hitachi) that fail on initial power up will be exchanged by ShopUST 30 days from date of purchase. To qualify for replacement, product must be complete with all accessories and will be replaced with same or equivalent model after the defective unit arrives at our regional warehouse. After 30 days from purchased, please contact the respective manufacturer.

SHOPUST.COM will exchange Sirius radios 30 days from SHOPUST.COM invoice to customer. After 30 days, call Directed Electronics at 800-876-0800.


DVD Players


SHOPUST.COM will exchange DVD players (except Pioneer) 30 days from SHOPUST.COM invoice to customer. After 30 days contact the Manufacturer direct for further service support.


Furniture/TV Stands


SHOPUST.COM will exchange Sirius radios 30 days from SHOPUST.COM invoice to customer. After 30 days, call Directed Electronics at 800-876-0800.

Televisions


SHOPUST.COM does not take back defective TVs or any TVs once the box has been opened. With a few exceptions, all TVs are repair only. See details below for specific TV Vendor Details:

Hitachi


30" and smaller LCD type LG TV’s that fail on initial power up will be exchanged by SHOPUST.COM 30 days from the original SHOPUST.COM invoice. Customer must pay return freight to SHOPUST.COM’s shipping warehouse. To qualify for replacement, TV must be complete with all accessories and will be replaced with same or equivalent model after the defective unit arrives at the warehouse. TV’s over 30" in size should be sent to an authorized repair center. If repairs cannot be completed by the repair center in a timely manner, contact SHOPUST.COM for further instruction. LG Customer Service 1-800-243-0000. Nearest Service center can be located on the web at http://.us.lge.com. Then select TV- Support-LG Service.


Sharp


All Sharp Electronic Products that fail on initial power up will be exchanged by SHOPUST.COM 30 days from original SHOPUST.COM invoice. Customer must pay the return freight to SHOPUST.COM’s shipping warehouse. To qualify for replacement, product must be complete with all accessories and will be replaced with same or equivalent model after the defective unit arrives at the warehouse. After 30 days from SHOPUST.COM invoice to customer, contact Sharp at 800-237-4277 or go to the web at www.sharpusa.com. Then click on the "Sharp Support Center" button.


Sylvania


Sylvania TV’s that fail on initial power up will be exchanged by SHOPUST.COM 30 days from the original SHOPUST.COM invoice. Customer must pay the return freight to SHOPUST.COM’s shipping warehouse. To qualify for replacement, TV must be complete with all accessories and will be replaced with same or equivalent model after the defective unit arrives at the warehouse. Toshiba


SHOPUST.COM will exchange Toshiba TV’s that fail on initial power up 30 days from SHOPUST.COM’s invoice. Customer must pay the return freight to SHOPUST.COM’s shipping warehouse. To qualify for replacement, TV must be complete with all accessories and will be replaced with same or equivalent model after the defective unit arrives at the warehouse. After 30 days, contact Toshiba for nearest repair center at www.toshiba.com and click on your specific product category then "customer support" then "authorized service center".

DSR922


Digital C band—Customer should call 800-976-5174 to obtain case number. With case number in hand SHOPUST.COM will exchange the DSR922 receiver up 30 days from SHOPUST.COM’s invoice at Seattle warehouse only. Please call a SHOPUST.COM representative and ask for the returns dept to receive an RA number and shipping instructions.


Free To Air Receivers


Repair only, no exchanges. Customer should call 770-874-1079 for DMS brand or 818-768-5161 for Pansat brand.


WildBlue

Off Air


30 day exchange from SHOPUST.COM’s invoice. Physical damage not included.


Belkin Modems


SHOPUST.COM will exchange the Bekin Modems that have an initial failure within 30 days from the SHOPUST.COM original invoice to the customer.


Freight Damaged Products


It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all shipments upon arrival for damage of any kind and indicate all damage, or potential damage, on the truck delivery receipt in the presence of the delivering driver. Immediately contact SHOPUST.COM office and SHOPUST.COM will initiate a freight claim with the carrier. If the damage is not indicated on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves, (concealed damage) SHOPUST.COM must be notified within 15 days of the delivery. SHOPUST.COM cannot guarantee a concealed damage claim will have any reimbursement value but will do our best to work with the carrier on your behalf. Beyond 15 days, the customer has full responsibility for any damage found.


New Un-Opened Returns


New and un-opened returns for any reason will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. No returns of any kind accepted beyond 120 days from original SHOPUST.COM’s invoice to customer

Refusing A Package

If you should place an order with ShopUST and then refuse the shipment for any reason other than damage to the package, please know that you will receive a refund for the amount of your original transaction less any shipping charges ShopUST incurred in getting the package to you originally as well as the cost of the return shipment.
